Class dates are September6\, 10\, 13\, 17\, 20\, 24\, 27\, 28\; October 1\, 4\, 8\, 11\, 15\, 18\, 22\, 25\, 26\, 29\; November 1\, 5\, 8\, 9\, 12\, 15\, 19\, 22\, 23\; December 3\, 6.  The course ins tructor is Tasha Hamilton.\n\n \;\n\nFees for this class will be cover ed by a grant from the WV Department of Education.\n\n \;\n\nThe cours e also requires a clinical component to be completed outside of class hour s during which you will ride along with an EMS agency to complete 10 patie nt assessments. These assessments must be completed prior to being approve d to take the NREMT exam once the course is completed. You will receive m ore information on the clinical component during the class.\n\n \;\n\n Upon successful completion of the course\, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs exam\, with the initial exam attempt\, as m entioned above\, being included within the course tuition.  This test wil l be scheduled at your convenience at a Pearson Vue testing center.  If s eeking certification in a state other than WV\, you will not need to compl ete the WV certification process/fees\, and will simply need to pass pract ical testing and NREMT examination before proceeding with the certificatio n process in your desired state.\n\n \;\n\nPre- registration for this class is required. Class is limited to 25 students.  Absence allowance is 10% of the total class hours = 15 hours.
