DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning August 25\, 2025 at Eastern West Virginia 
 Community and Technical College. Classes will  meet Mondays and Wednesday
 s from 6pm-10pm with occasional Saturdays.\n\nInstructors: Dave Pratt / Bi
 llie Jo Biddle\n\nAll Students are required to have a laptop computer for 
 class!\n\nTime: 6:00pm-10:00pm\n\nThis 155 hour minimum program is the bas
 ic level of EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Serv
 ices. This class meets the National Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candid
 ate must successfully complete the program\, complete required clinical ti
 me\, complete the practical skills testing\, and obtain a passing score o
 n the computer-based National Registry exam. Recertification is required 
 by National Registry every two years.\n\nUpon successful completion of the
  course\, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs ex
 am. If seeking certification in a state other than WV\, you will not need
  to complete the WV certification process/fees\, and will simply need to p
 ass practical testing and NREMT examination before proceeding with the cer
