DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning August 11\, 2025 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm a
 t Southern Jackson County VFD.\n \nWhere: Southern Jackson County VFD (901
 5 Charleston Rd.\, Ripley\, WV 25271)\n \nWhen: August 11\, 2025 - January
  19\, 2026\n\nPlanned Meeting Dates: Monday and Thursdays with an online c
 omponent\n \nTime: 6:00pm - 10:00pm\n \nOrientation is in person at Southe
 rn Jackson County VFD on August 11\, 2025\n \nUpon successful completion o
 f the course\, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EM
 T's exam\, with the initial exam attempt\, as mentioned above\, being incl
 uded within the course tuition. This test will be scheduled at your conven
 ience at a Pearson Vue testing center. If seeking certification in a state
  other than WV\, you will not need to complete the WV certification proces
 s/fees\, and will simply need to pass practical testing and NREMT examinat
 ion before proceeding with the certification process in your desired state
 .\n \nAbsence allowance is 10% of the total class hours = 15 hours. Make u
 p of missed classes will be at the discretion of the course instructor.\n
