DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning August 22\, 2022 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm a
 t Wood County Training Center (2311 Camden Ave.\, Parkersburg\, WV 26101).

 onday and Wednesday with an online component\n\nTime: 6:00pm - 10:00pm\n\n
 Orientation is in person at Wood County Training Center on August 22.\n\nU
 pon successful completion of the course\, you will be eligible to sit for 
 the National Registry of EMT's exam\, with the initial exam attempt\, as m
 entioned above\, being included within the course tuition. This test will
  be scheduled at your convenience at a Pearson Vue testing center. If see
 king certification in a state other than WV\, you will not need to complet
 e the WV certification process/fees\, and will simply need to pass practic
 al testing and NREMT examination before proceeding with the certification 
 process in your desired state.\n\nAbsence allowance is 10% of the total cl
 ass hours = 15 hours. Make up of missed classes will be at the discretion 
 of the course instructor.\n\nFee:  FREE with the collaborative support o
 f the WV Higher Education Policy Commission to pay for tuition\, textbook\
 , and first attempt at National Registry exam\n\nPRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
