DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning September 1\, 2021 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
  at Gilmer County EMS (230 West Main St.\, Glenville\, WV 26351).\n\nPlann
 ed Meeting Dates: Mondays\, Wednesdays\, and Fridays with an online compon
 ent\n\nTime: 6:00pm - 10:00pm\n\nOrientation is in person at Gilmer County
  EMS on September 1.\n\nThis 155 hour minimum program is the basic level o
 f EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. This
  class meets the National Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candidate must s
 uccessfully complete the program\, complete required clinical time\, compl
 ete the practical skills testing\, and obtain a passing score on the com
 puter-based National Registry exam. Recertification is required by Nationa
 l Registry every two years.\n\nUpon successful completion of the course\, 
 you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs exam\, with 
 the initial exam attempt\, as mentioned above\, being included within the 
 course tuition. This test will be scheduled at your convenience at a Pear
 son Vue testing center. If seeking certification in a state other than WV
 \, you will not need to complete the WV certification process/fees\, and w
 ill simply need to pass practical testing and NREMT examination before pro
 ceeding with the certification process in your desired state.\n\nAbsence a
 llowance is 10% of the total class hours = 15 hours. Make up of missed cla
 sses will be at the discretion of the course instructor.\n\nFee:  $300 Tu

 Using the email address and password will allow you to review your transcr
 ipt for all PST classes you have taken since July 2016\, provided you have
  used the same email address for each region.  If you have taken a class 
 and received a certificate\, but it doesn’t show up on your transcript\,
  contact the PST office for the area you took the course.\n\n**If you are
