DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning January 5\, 2026 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm a
 t the Wood County Training Center.\n \nWhere: Wood County Training Center 
 (2311 Camden Ave.\, Parkersburg\, WV 26101)\n \nWhen: January 5\, 2026 - M
 ay 4\, 2026\n\nPlanned Meeting Dates: Monday and Wednesdays with an online
  component\n \nTime: 6:00pm - 10:00pm\n \nOrientation is in person at Wood
  County Training Center on January 5\, 2026\n \nUpon successful completion
  of the course\, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of 
 EMT's exam\, with the initial exam attempt\, as mentioned above\, being in
 cluded within the course tuition. This test will be scheduled at your conv
 enience at a Pearson Vue testing center. If seeking certification in a sta
 te other than WV\, you will not need to complete the WV certification proc
 ess/fees\, and will simply need to pass practical testing and NREMT examin
 ation before proceeding with the certification process in your desired sta
 te.\n \nAbsence allowance is 10% of the total class hours = 15 hours. Make
  up of missed classes will be at the discretion of the course instructor.\
 n \nFee:  $770 to include tuition and book\n \nPRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED!!
