DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning August 27\, 2025 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm a
 t the Wood County Training Center.\n \nWhere: Wood County Training Center 
 (2311 Camden Ave.\, Parkersburg\, WV 26101)\n \nWhen: August 27\, 2025 - J
 anuary 7\, 2026\n\nPlanned Meeting Dates: Monday and Wednesdays with an on
 line component\n \nTime: 6:00pm - 10:00pm\n \nOrientation is in person at 
 Wood County Training Center on August 27\, 2025\n \nUpon successful comple
 tion of the course\, you will be eligible to sit for the National Registry
  of EMT's exam\, with the initial exam attempt\, as mentioned above\, bein
 g included within the course tuition. This test will be scheduled at your 
 convenience at a Pearson Vue testing center. If seeking certification in a
  state other than WV\, you will not need to complete the WV certification 
 process/fees\, and will simply need to pass practical testing and NREMT ex
 amination before proceeding with the certification process in your desired
  state.\n \nAbsence allowance is 10% of the total class hours = 15 hours.
