DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be offering an Emergency Medica
 l Technician course beginning August 24\, 2023 through January 29\, 2024 f
 rom 1800-2200 daily at Southern Jackson County VFD (9015 Charleston Rd.\, 
 Ripley\, WV 25271).\n\nLocation: Southern Jackson County VFD (9015 Charles
 ton Rd.\, Ripley\, WV 25271)\n\nDays: Mondays and Thursdays\n\nTimes: 1800
 -2200 daily\n\nCost: $500 to include tuition and book\n\nPRE-REGISTRATION
  REQUIRED. CLASS IS LIMITED TO 20 STUDENTS.\n\nInstructors: Lori Pierson 
 &amp\; Brittany Munday\n\nUpon successful completion of the course\, you w
 ill be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs exam. This test 
 will be scheduled at your convenience at a Pearson Vue testing center. If
  seeking certification in a state other than WV\, you will not need to com
 plete the WV certification process/fees\, and will simply need to pass pra
 ctical testing and NREMT examination before proceeding with the certificat
 ion process in your desired state.\n\nAbsence allowance is 10% of the tota
 l class hours = 15 hours. Make up of missed classes will be at the discret
