DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Technician course beginning August 21\, 2023 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm a
 t Wood County Training Center (2311 Camden Ave.\, Parkersburg\, WV 26101).
 \n\nWhere: Wood County Training Center (2311 Camden Ave.\, Parkersburg\, W
 V 26101)\n\nWhen: August 21\, 2023 - December 20\, 2023\n\nPlanned Meeting
  Dates: Monday and Wednesday with an online component\n\nTime: 6:00pm - 10
 :00pm\n\nOrientation is in person at Wood County Training Center on August
  21.\n\nUpon successful completion of the course\, you will be eligible to
  sit for the National Registry of EMT's exam\, with the initial exam attem
 pt\, as mentioned above\, being included within the course tuition. This 
 test will be scheduled at your convenience at a Pearson Vue testing center
 . If seeking certification in a state other than WV\, you will not need t
 o complete the WV certification process/fees\, and will simply need to pas
 s practical testing and NREMT examination before proceeding with the certi
 fication process in your desired state.\n\nAbsence allowance is 10% of the
  total class hours = 15 hours. Make up of missed classes will be at the di
 scretion of the course instructor.\n\nFee:  $750 to include tuition and b
 ook\n\nPRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED!! \n\nClass size: 20 participants\n\nIf
