DESCRIPTION:WVPST &amp\; Wood County Fire School are pleased to announce an
  EMS Safety course on January 19\, 2020 from 9a-5p at the Parkersburg Fire
  Dept. Training Center (2311 Camden Ave.\, Parkersburg\, WV 26101)\n \nCo
 st is $30/person.  \n \nPLEASE NOTE:  NAEMT Fee of $10 needs to be pai
 d to the Instructor on the day of class.  Other $20 can be invoiced to yo
 u or your department affiliation.\n \n\nDescription:\nNAEMT’s EMS Safet
 y course teaches students how to protect themselves and their patients whi
 le on the job. It promotes a culture of safety and helps reduce the number
  of on-the-job fatalities and injuries. EMS Safety is the only national\, 
 comprehensive safety course for EMS practitioners. Its interactive format 
 features real-life case studies and compelling discussions on current safe
 ty issues\, and provides participants with a forum to share their own expe
 riences. Critical thinking stations help build participants’ risk assess
