SUMMARY:Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC)
DESCRIPTION:POSTPONED and RESCHEDULED TO MARCH 7 and 8\, 2026.\n\nEMERGENCY
  VEHICLE OPERATIONS\nThis 16-hour course is being conducted at Masontown V
 FD (Preston County).  Class dates are January 31 and February 1\, 2026 fr
 om 9:00am - 5:00pm each day.  Chuck Curtis is the lead instructor.  In a
 ddition to didactic material and driving skills completed during the in cl
 ass portion\, students must be signed off by leadership within their depar
 tment (Chief\, Agency Director\, Training Officer\, etc.) after completion
  of a daily inspection exercise and operation of an emergency vehicle on a
  public roadway.  Additional details on completing these activities will 
 be provided during class.  Certificates will only be issued after ALL req
 uirements have been completed.  Students are responsible for bringing the
 ir own department apparatus for the driving portion of the class.\n\nCLICK

 istration is required.  If no seats appear available\, contact the WVPST

 n a waiting list for class.\n\nPREREQUISITES: Students must be at least 18
  years old and hold a valid driver’s license.\n\nTUITION is $60 per stud
 ent\, which includes a loan of the course textbook during class.  Fees ma
 y be paid with cash\, check or money order made payable to Mountain State 
 Educational Service Cooperative or MSESC.  Payment\, or an authorization 
 to invoice form\, is due at the first class session.
