SUMMARY:Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC)
DESCRIPTION:EMERGENCY VEHICLE OPERATIONS\nThis 16-hour course is being cond
 ucted at Parsons VFD\, Parsons\, West Virginia (Tucker County).  Class da
 tes are February 19 &amp\; 20\, 2022 from 9:00am - 5:00pm each day.  Tom 
 Klus is the instructor.  In addition to didactic material and driving ski
 lls completed during the in class portion\, students must be signed off by
  leadership within their department (Chief\, Agency Director\, Training Of
 ficer\, etc.) after completion of a daily inspection exercise and operatio
 n of an emergency vehicle on a public roadway.  Additional details on com
 pleting these activities will be provided during class.  Certificates wil
 l only be issued after ALL requirements have been completed.  Students ar
 e responsible for bringing their own department apparatus for the driving 
 portion of the class.\n\nREGISTER: By clicking the link below or at the fi
 rst class session\, however\, registration will be limited to 20 students 
 so preregistration is required.  If no seats appear available\, contact t

  placed on a waiting list for class.\n\nPREREQUISITES: Students must be at
  least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.\n\nTUITION is $35
  per student and the course textbook will be loaned during the class for a
  fee of $10.  Fees may be paid with cash\, check or money order made paya
 ble to Mountain State Educational Service Cooperative or MSESC.
