DESCRIPTION:Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - Partial grant funding thro
 ugh Jobs &amp\; Hope\n\nThis 155 hour minimum program is the basic level o
 f EMT care by the West Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. This
  class meets the National Standards Curriculum.  The EMT candidate must s
 uccessfully complete the program\, complete required clinical time\, compl
 ete the practical skills testing\, and obtain a passing score on the com
 puter-based National Registry exam. Recertification is required by Nationa
 l Registry every two years.\n\nWVPST is partnering with Jobs &amp\; Hope t
 o provide a partially grant funded class. Jobs &amp\; Hope will cover the 
 expenses for a textbook\, and one Platinum Education testing fee per stude
 nt. The student will be responsible for class tuition of $350. Books will 
 not be issued until class tuition is paid.\n\nClass will begin on February
  22\, 2022 at 6:00 pm at the South Branch Vocational Center. Class schedul
 e will be determined during the first class meeting.\n\nPre-registration i
 s required.\n\nThis class is subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment
