DESCRIPTION:WV Public Service Training will be conducting an Emergency Medi
 cal Responder course beginning February 14\, 2026 at 8:00 am at Lubeck VFD

 \nTime: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Saturdays\; 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM on Mondays & W
 ednesdays\n\nThis course emphasizes the skills needed to provide basic eme
 rgency care during the first phases of an emergency. The course is 72 hour
 s of classroom and practical training in all aspects of initial response t
 o a medical emergency. To receive certification by WVOEMS as a First Respo
 nder\, participants must successfully complete practical skills evaluation
 s\, and pass the computer-based National Registry cognitive (knowledge) te
 st. Recertification is required by National Registry every two years. This
  test will be scheduled at your convenience at a Pearson Vue testing cente
 r. If seeking certification in a state other than WV\, you will not need t
 o complete the WV certification process/fees\, and will simply need to pas
 s practical testing and NREMT examination before proceeding with the certi
 fication process in your desired state.\n\nAbsence allowance is 10% of the
  total class hours = 7.2 hours. Make up of missed classes will be at the d
 iscretion of the course instructor.\n\nFee:  $450 to include tuition and t
