DESCRIPTION:EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONDER\n\nThis 72-hour course will be cond
 ucted at Kingwood VFD\, Kingwood\, West Virginia (Preston County). Class d
 ates and times will be as follows:\n\nNovember 13: 6:30-10pm\n\nNovember 1
 4: 8am - 5pm\n\nNovember 15: 8am - 5pm\n\nNovember 20: 6:30-10pm\n\nNovemb
 er 21: 8am - 5pm\n\nNovember 22: 8am - 5pm\n\nDecember 4: 6:30-10pm\n\nDec
 ember 5: 8am - 5pm\n\nDecember 12: 8am - 5pm\n\nDecember 13: 8am - 3:30pm\
 n\nCourtney Chaney is the lead instructor.\n\nUpon successful completion o
 f the course\, students will be eligible for the NREMT (National Registry 
 of EMT’s) EMR examination (computer based and scheduled by student at a 
 Pearson Vue testing center).  Successful completion of the NREMT EMR exam
  is the only route to WV Certification as an EMR.  Students are only allo
 wed to miss 10% of total course hours before being ineligible to successfu
 lly complete the class and test NREMT.\n\nPRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Pre-r
 egister for this class by clicking here. Course enrollment will be capped 
 at 20 students.  If no seats are available\, please contact the WVPST Cla
 rksburg office to be placed on a waiting list.\n\nCourse tuition is $400\,
  which includes tuition\, textbook\, pocket mask\, CPR certification\, and
  access to the EMS testing program.  Fees may be paid with cash\, or chec
 k or money order made payable to MSESC.  Payment is due at the first clas
 s session.  If a department is paying\, you must contact the WVPST office
  to request an authorization to invoice form to be completed by a departme
 nt official.\n\nCosts associated with NREMT testing\, and WVOEMS certifica
 tion and background check are not included within the class and are the re
 sponsibility of the student.\n\nAmerican Heart Association Healthcare Prov
 ider CPR is taught as a required portion of this course. For that reason w
 e must publish the following:\n\nD I S C L A I M E R -- The American Heart

 nd PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of
  these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponso
