DESCRIPTION:*CLASS IS CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST*\n\nEMERGENCY MEDIC
 AL RESPONDER\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nThis 72-hour course will be conducted at Cool S
 prings VFD\, Morgantown\, West Virginia (Monongalia County). Class dates w
 ill be March 27\, 30\; April 3\, 6\, 10\, 13\, 17\, 20\, 24\, 27\; May 1\,
  4\, 8\, 11\, 15\, 18\, &amp\; 22\, 2023 .  Class times will be 6pm-10pm.
   Gary Strohlein is the instructor.\n\nUpon successful completion of the 
 course\, students will be eligible for the NREMT (National Registry of EMT
 ’s) EMR examination (computer based and scheduled by student at a Pearso
 n Vue testing center).  Successful completion of the NREMT EMR exam is th
 e only route to WV Certification as an EMR.  Students are only allowed to
  miss 10% of total course hours before being ineligible to successfully co
 mplete the class and test NREMT.\n\nPRE-REGISTER: Pre-register for this cl
 ass by clicking here. Course enrollment will be capped at 20 students.  I
 f no seats are available\, please contact the WVPST Clarksburg office to b
 e placed on a waiting list.\n\nCourse tuition is $450\, which includes tui
 tion\, textbook\, pocket mask\, CPR certification\, access to the EMS test
 ing program\, and the student’s first attempt at the NREMT EMR exam for 
 those that successfully complete course requirements.  Fees may be paid w
 ith cash\, or check or money order made payable to MSESC.  Payment is due
  at the first class session.  If a department is paying\, you must contac
 t the WVPST office to request an authorization to invoice form to be compl
 eted by a department official.\n\nCosts associated with WVOEMS certificati
 on and background check are not included within the class and are the resp
 onsibility of the student.\n\nAmerican Heart Association Healthcare Provid
 er CPR is taught as a required portion of this course. For that reason we

  PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of t
