SUMMARY:Basic Firefighter Academy
DESCRIPTION:Basic Firefighter Academy\n\nThe academy  includes Firefighter
  1\, HazMat Awareness/Operations\, First Aid/CPR\, Firefighter 2\, Rescue 
 Core Prerequisites\, and Vehicle &amp\;  Machinery Rescue Level 1.  The 
 first class is Wednesday\, October 23\, 2017 at 6:00 pm at Berkeley Spring
 s VFD.  The class will meet evenings 6 to 10 pm and weekends from 8 am to
  5 pm with the exact schedule to be determined by the instructor and parti
 cipants.  The Firefighter 1 and 2 training is combined into a joint class
 .  Other components of the class will be taught separately and will be op
 en to others not enrolled in the full set of classes.  As these classes a
 re scheduled the dates will be posted on the WVPST website.  All componen
 ts of this academy are open to Junior Firefighters with a properly complet
 ed Permission Form.  Academy will be cancelled if minimum enrollment numb
 ers are not met.  Marshall Younker is the instructor.  Course Fees:  $9
 0 FF 1 and FF 2\, $45 Rescue Core\, $35 Vehicle Rescue 1.  FF book is $70
 .  A $50 supply fee may be charged.  Rescue books can be used in class f
 or a $10 rental fee\, or can be purchased.  IFSAC testing offered - $25 e
 ach for FF 1\, HazMat Awareness\, HazMat Operations\, and FF 2.\n\nClick h
