SUMMARY:ALERRT - Active Attack Integrated Response Course (AAIR) Train-the-
 Trainer
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nDescription\nThe AAIR T3 is designed to improve integ
 ration between law enforcement\, fire\, tele-communicator and EMS in activ
 e attack / shooter events. The course provides law enforcement officers wi
 th key medical skills based on tactical emergency casualty care guidelines
 \, which can be used at the point of injury to increase survivability of v
 ictims.\n\n\nThe course also provides a model framework for law enforcemen
 t\, fire\, and EMS to integrate responses during an active attack / shoote
 r event through the rescue task force concept.\n\n\nThis course has been d
 esigned to improve the safety and survivability of victims of active attac
 k / shooter events and increase the effectiveness\, coordination\, and res
 ource integration between law enforcement\, fire\, tele-communications and
  EMS when responding to these events.\n\n\n\nTarget Audience\nThis course 
 is intended for emergency managers and first responders responsible for de
 veloping or implementing hurricane and/or inland flooding operations plans
  and procedures for inland communities.\n\n\n\nRequired Equipment\nGood at
 titude\, open mind\, pen and paper\, duty gear or training uniform. A lapt
 op or tablet is strongly suggested for reviewing course materials in prepa
 ration for the teach back portion of the course.\n\n\n\nClass Size: 20-LE\
 , 5-Fire\, 5-EMS\n\n\n\nDates: April 17-21\, 2023\n\n\n\nTimes: 0800-1700 
 daily\n\n\n\nPrerequisites and Requirements: Participants must be state-ce
 rtified law enforcement\, fire\, Tele-communicator or EMS providers. EMS p
 roviders should be EMT-B certified (preferably EMT-I or EMT-P).\n\n\n\nTo
