 Forcible Entry class scheduled at Valley this weekend\, 4/9-10/22\, has be

 ed to partner with Valley Fire &amp\; Rescue to provide you Ohio Valley Tr
 aining Weekends. Each month\, Valley will host a different class to enhanc
 e training. Attached\, you will find the planned 2022 schedule. Each month
 \, the next month's course will be advertised and registration opened.\n\n
 April's Training Will Be: Forcible Entry\n\nForcible entry is an essential
  skill in the fire service. Firefighters should be able to size up and eff
 ectively force the door to gain access.\n\nThis class is designed to teach
  the basic principles and steps of forcible entry conventionally and throu
 gh the lock.\n\nConventional forcible entry:\n\nInward and outward swingin
 g doors along with secondary security measure will be the time to understa
 nd the variety of uses for your irons and NY roof hook. Secondary locks wi
 ll be a time to utilize your k12 and hand tools to cut or force locks and 
 chains.\n\nThrough the lock:\n\nStudents will learn less destructive ways 
 to safely enter secured structures that minimize cost for the resident for
  business by defeating different locking mechanisms commonly found on resi
 dential and commercial structures.\n\nEquipment Needed: Turn out gear wit
 h SCBA/Mask\n\nTuition: $35/person\n\nLocation: Valley Fire &amp\; Rescue
