Online FF 1 and 2
An online Firefighter 1 and 2 class will be hosted by Capon Bridge VFD with registration night on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 6:00 pm. This is a blended learning class with training done online instead of the traditional classroom instruction, with “hands on” practical skills sessions. The class includes FF 1, FF 2, HazMat Awareness/Operations, and First Aid/CPR. Participants must attend the registration night on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at Capon Bridge VFD. If enough people attend the registration night the class will begin on October 25. Practical Skills training sessions will be on evenings and weekends with exact dates to be determined by the instructor and class participants. There is a maximum of 30 participants. Someone already certified at the Firefighter 1 level can participate in the class to receive Firefighter 2. Travis Combs is the lead instructor. Course Fee of $225 includes tuition, books and online access. A $50 supply fee may be charged.
