Instructor Course
There will be an Emergency Services Instructor Course October 12, 13 & 14 and October 19, 20 & 21 at JCESA, 419 16th Ave, Ranson, WV. The class will be held Fridays 6 to 10 pm; Saturdays & Sundays 8 am to 5 pm. The cost of the course is $250.00, which includes textbook. The class is limited to 18 participants. Preference will be given to those who preregister on the WVPST website. This Instructor Course will prepare the participant to develop and deliver training in an EMS, Fire, or Law Enforcement Department. This course will be designed to allow participants to receive Instructor 1 certification, or both Instructor 1 and 2 certification, per the NFPA Instructor Standard. In order to receive an Adult Teaching Permit from WV Department of Education, the applicant must meet additional requirements. Successful completion of the course does not guarantee employment as a PST Instructor.
