WVPST is offering an Instructor I class beginning February 4, 2020 at 8:00 am. Dates and times of classes are as follows:

February 4, 5 & 6              8:00 am – 5:00 pm

February 11, 12 & 13        8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Students must attend 100% of the class- NO EXCEPTIONS.

Location:  Logan Emergency Ambulance Service Authority (511 Dingess St., Logan, WV 25601)

The cost is $150.00 and includes tuition and book. Lodging and meals will be on your own.

You should bring reference materials relative to the program you will be teaching (such as EMT textbooks, fire service training textbooks, props, etc.)

There will be mandatory course work each night. Participants will be required to write objectives, develop a lesson plan and teach a 20-minute lesson on an assigned topic, as well as perform some of the practical skills. A laptop is encouraged but not required.

Class will be limited to 20 students.
