Fire Officer 1 and 2
A 48-hour Fire Officer 1 and 2 class will start on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 8:00 am at the Mathias-Baker VFC. The class will meet on weekends – May 19, 20, 26 & 27, and June 2 & 3.
Participants are required to complete a significant amount of classwork outside of scheduled classes. Mike Crouse is the instructor. This class combines the requirements for Fire Officer 1 and Fire Officer 2. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive certificates for Fire Officer 1 and Fire Officer 2. Someone already having Fire Officer 1 must attend the entire class to certify for Fire Officer 2. Fire Fighter 2 is a prerequisite for Fire Officer 1. Participants must provide verification of prerequisite to receive certification. Tuition is $45. Books are $120.
