Class dates will be March 20, 22, 25, 29; April 1, 10, 12, 15, 19, 22, 27, 30; May 1, 10, and 15, 2021.  Class times on weekday evenings will be 6pm-10pm, and on weekends will be 9am-5m.  Courtney Chaney is the instructor.  Students must have laptop or tablet and reliable internet, as the lecture portions of this course will be conducted in a virtual instructor led environment, with in person sessions held for skills instruction and practice.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be eligible for the NREMT (National Registry of EMT’s) EMR examination (computer based and scheduled by student at a Pearson Vue testing center).  Successful completion of the NREMT EMR exam is the only route to WV Certification as an EMR.  Students are only allowed to miss 10% of total course hours before being ineligible to successfully complete the class and test NREMT.

PRE-REGISTER: Pre-register for this class by using the registration link below.  Course enrollment will be capped at 20 students.

Course tuition is $355, which includes tuition, textbook, pocket mask, CPR certification, and the student’s first attempt at the NREMT EMR exam.  Fees may be paid with cash, or check or money order made payable to MSESC.  Payment is due at the first class session.  All fees and costs are subject to change.

Other costs associated with this course include $120 payable to WVOEMS to cover initial certification and a criminal background check costs (recommend waiting until NREMT is passed before proceeding with this).
